Florian Deter: New Board of Trustees Member

We are excited to welcome our alumnus Florian Deter, Managing Director and General Manager Enterprise Commercial at Microsoft Germany, to the board of trustees at Goethe Business School.

Florian Deter, currently leading Microsoft Germany's key account business, began his career in consulting and managerial roles at companies such as Oliver Wyman, Accenture, and PwC. He later served as Executive Vice President for Nordcloud's global portfolio, an IBM subsidiary. Prior to this, he was responsible for IBM's CIO Advisory and Cloud Applications service line. When Goethe Business School invited him to host a Friday Talk in April, he did not hesitate to accept the opportunity to return to his alma mater on Campus Westend. During his presentation, Deter showcased the effectiveness of Microsoft Copilot by sharing his daily routine and best practices with a packed classroom. We look forward to even more valuable contributions and fresh perspectives he will bring to GBS in the future.

"As a proud alumnus, I am honored to join the Goethe Business School Board of Trustees. My education at GBS and Duke was pivotal in shaping my career and leadership approach.
