GBS Welcomes Largest MBA Cohort

On October 9 and 10, we welcomed our largest MBA intake yet. The orientation days for our students from the Pharma MBA and the newly designed Goethe MBA program concluded with a semester-opening talk by Christoph Ruland, General Manager and Head of Human Pharma at Boehringer Ingelheim.

The orientation days started with a warm welcome from Dr. Nina Siragusa, Strategy Business Lead at Merck Healthcare and an alumna of our Digital Transformation MBA program. In her speech, she shared valuable lessons and transformative experiences from her own MBA journey. Following her address, the new MBA students eagerly engaged in team-building exercises and explored Campus Westend together despite the rainy weather.

The second day concluded with a semester-opening talk by Christoph Ruland, General Manager and Head of Human Pharma at Boehringer Ingelheim, on "Bringing Innovation to Patients: Perspectives of a General Manager." The event also offered networking opportunities for the new cohorts and GBS alumni. Learning alongside one another fosters relationships, and the networking opportunities created are vital to the educational experience at Goethe Business School.

Our part-time master programs stand out due to their unique content and format: The Pharma MBA focuses specifically on management topics within the pharmaceutical industry, while the Goethe MBA (Digital Transformation | Data Science | Sustainability) offers a comprehensive approach to transformation for working professionals.
