MBA
The Goethe MBA was first introduced in 2017 as a program primarily focusing on digital transformation. The program has now been expanded to provide a broader perspective on transformation by including two new focus areas. In addition to the original focus on digital transformation, the curriculum now offers specialization options in data science and sustainability.
You can tailor your MBA program according to your interests by selecting one of the three focus areas or combining modules that best suit your professional or personal goals.

Companies must increasingly assume more responsibility for their sustainability activities and compliance with ESG criteria. The sustainability focus, therefore, deals in detail with sustainability, particularly from a strategic and financial corporate perspective. In the various modules, participants learn strategies for integrating ESG principles into corporate decision-making, e.g., in the context of sustainable investments, risk management, and green business models.
The Sustainability specialization requires the completion of three out of four elective modules to acquire an exclusive Certificate in Advanced Studies:
- ESG Reporting & Management
- Sustainable Finance
- Green & Sustainable Business Models
- Strategic Transformation Management for Regenerative & Digital Business
